At Two Birch Trees is a scenic outdoor event venue in the Mat-Su Valley, Alaska, welcoming a wide range of memorable events and private parties. We host weddings, micro-weddings, elopements, vow renewal ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, interfaith ceremonies, non-religious ceremonies, hand-fasting ceremonies, and second weddings.

How many guests can At Two Birch Trees accommodate?
Our outdoor event space comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests. This makes us ideal for intimate outdoor weddings, micro-weddings, elopements, small family reunions, and special celebrations where the focus is on connection — not crowd size. Our Southcentral Alaska wedding venue offers breathtaking views without the impersonal feel of a large ballroom.

Venue access & Amenities
How long do I have access to the venue on the day of my event?
Standard venue access runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight), as outlined in your contract — giving you a full day to set up, celebrate, and close out your event. For Monday through Thursday events, hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
If your bridal party needs earlier access to use the bridal suite or prepare for an outdoor ceremony, special arrangements can be made in advance — just reach out when booking.
Can the bridal party arrive early to get ready?
Yes. While standard access begins at 9:00 AM, early access arrangements can be made for the bridal party upon request. We have separate, private spaces — a bridal suite and groom's room — available for the wedding party to get ready before your ceremony begins.

What tables, chairs, and linens do you provide?
Your rental includes everything you need to set up your space:
- 6-foot rectangle tables
- White foldable chairs
- Non-folding padded chairs
- White tablecloths
For all wedding packages, we also provide a specially designated chair with a white satin chair cover as an "in memory" tribute — a beautiful way to honor loved ones who cannot be present at your wedding. It's one of the small details that makes At Two Birch Trees a truly personal Alaska wedding venue.
Do you have a designated area for the bride and groom?
Yes. At Two Birch Trees has separate, private areas where the bride and groom can get ready for the ceremony. The bridal suite and groom's room are included as part of your venue experience, giving both parties a comfortable, private space before the big moment.
It's one of the details our couples love most about hosting their outdoor ceremony with us.
Do you provide catering or allow outside caterers?
At Two Birch Trees does not provide in-house catering, but we warmly welcome outside caterers and food vendors. Whether you're planning a full catered reception or a more casual outdoor celebration, you have the freedom to bring in the food and beverage experience that fits your vision. We're also happy to recommend trusted local catering vendors in the Mat-Su Valley who have worked with our Alaska outdoor wedding venue before.
Is there on-site parking for guests?
Yes. At Two Birch Trees offers on-site parking for your guests, making arrival easy and stress-free for everyone attending your outdoor ceremony, reception, or private event in Wasilla.
Who handles the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and decorations?
Prior to your event date, you provide us with your designated layout for tables and chairs — covering both your ceremony and reception setup. We will have all tables and chairs arranged and ready when you arrive. Decorations are set up by the client and removed by the client at the close of the event, with tables and chairs returned under the wedding tent. This gives you full creative control over your décor and styling while we handle the furniture so you can focus on your day.

How do I check availability and book At Two Birch Trees for my event?

Once your date is confirmed, a signed contract and security deposit are required to secure your reservation. We recommend reaching out early — especially for peak Alaska summer wedding season — as our intimate outdoor venue books up quickly.
Do you offer wedding packages, and what do they include?
Yes. At Two Birch Trees offers three wedding packages designed to fit different guest counts and visions:
Silver Package (Elopement) — Starting at $2,000 | 6–15 guests | Ceremony setup, officiant, and décor
Golden Package (Sweet Romance) — Starting at $3,200 | 20–45 guests | Full-detail coverage so you can focus on the moment
Platinum Package (Eternal Love) — Starting at $4,200 | 50–80 guests | Comprehensive option with personalized touches and full-service support

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept U.S. currency — cash, personal check, and PayPal. Be sure to ask about our available discounts when you reach out or schedule a tour.
When is the refundable security deposit returned?
Your refundable security deposit is returned at the close of your event, after the client — or a client-designated representative — completes the final venue walk-through with us. As long as the venue is left in the agreed condition, the deposit is returned the same evening. We want your experience at At Two Birch Trees to start and end on a great note.
Do you offer discounts for military or first responders?
Yes. At Two Birch Trees is proud to be a veteran-owned and operated Alaska wedding venue, and we honor the service of our military community and first responders with special discounts. Ask about our military and first responder discount when you reach out to book.

Yes.
